AUDIO INPUT TO LAYER PROPERTY

Hi, I'd like to link an audio input to the property of a layer. This is not the audio volume of a track or a video, but my computer microphone (to be precise i use the sound of an application which is running on my computer, using the vocal synt. of the MAC, and I want to use this sound to transform a layer). Any Idea ?
