Scale media
Hi guys,
Might be an idea to be able to scale/position the media as well, not just the layer.
So this way i can keep my timeline clear.
Imagine you have 15 media and they are all different size, i need 15 layers so my timeline it's not clear and visible anymore.

I am looking for something that is not very expensive and that gives me little latency when capturing video.

I have a MACBOOKPRO with USB-C and I'm looking at these options:

tracking dmx level to use in interaction

I use a dmx layer in Led type MONO, i want to use the level of dmx output of itch pixel to control alpha param in a other media layer.
My first idea is to send art net of dmx layer in local 127.0.0.1
and create interaction in my media layer
but it's not working ......

Clip jumps at Pause Cue
Hello,
i have a problem using pause cues in a timeline.
Macbook Pro Retine Mid 2012 Millumin v3.14c Mojave 10.14.6
Macbook connected directly to 24" Screen 1920x1080 50hz
Clip 1920x1080 ProRes 422 25fps
When i use segments, and use the Play Once Mode the clip jumps noticeable for about 2 Frames when running into the pause cue.
I cant see any frame jump pressing pause in Quicktime.
Any Ideas? Am i doing something wrong or is this a known issue? Hardware too old ?

Pausing Keyboard Input Triggers
Hi,
Is there anyway to set a pause or a timed pause to limit keyboard input presses. I'm setting up a buzzer system, and need to make sure when one buzzer is pressed that after the column is launched another buzzer can't trigger a different column so i t doesn't jump around the time line.

I currently have the buzzers setup as USB Keyboard inputs (they are wireless USB buttons) and they trigger a keyboard press triggering the column, at the end of the triggered column it moves to the next column which has a saved reset state (lights do back to original position and different track plays).
The columns are playing timelines that have a sound effect and a lighting cue.
Any suggestions would be really helpful

OSC mode to launch video on an other computer with millumin

I have 4 computers (all of them with millumin 3, 1 macbook pro et 3 mac mini), 5 same videoprojectors.
Macbook pro 1 : server mode (with Linksys router RJ45)
Mac mini 1 : 1 Gigabit router / millumin with 2 videprojectors
Mac mini 2 : 1 Gigabit router / millumn with 1 videoprojector
Mac mini 3 : 1 Gigabit router / millumin with 2 videprojectors
I'd like to control the 3 mini with OSC protocol with my macbook pro.
I did a project with dashboard. I have my 5 displays (one linear canvas with my 5 repartitions on my 3 mac mini)
Problem 1 : I can't control the 3 mini with 1 dashboard command (I don't know how to do, I can command them one by one)
Problem 2 : it's impossible to have a non linear canvas. I try to do it with slice editor, but you can do this split screen only with one picture. My 5 videoprjectors are like the 5 face of a dice. How can I do to have a split screen like this on my macbook pro ?

Streaming to phones
Hi everybody
So, I’m trying to send videos from millumin to multiple phones. Wirelessly. I tried with TLSyphonViewer, but the result is a bit glitchy, and, it works on iPhones, but not so much on androids. And so far I haven’t been really successful. Any ideas ?

Font Resizing Issue - BUG???
Having an issue with fonts resizing themselves.

I am working on a dual monitor set-up with macbook pro screen and thunderbolt display.
I am getting a bug where if I have my macbook screen closed and work only on the thunderbolt display, my fonts resize in the millumin project. I have attached a couple of screen shots to show the issue.
Is anybody else having this bug, and is there a work around?

Millumin Mapping
Hello Millumin people
I am a Watchout operator for almost 10 years & as years pass watchout still rely on an old & unfriendly user interface. I believe it’s still wanted at events as it’s known for stability.
Lately Iv’e been exposed to Millumin by a colleague & I decide to check it out.
I’ve been playing with the Trial for sometime & I can say I was amazed by it’s features, simplicity, performance & price.
No Client-Server method will help me focus on the project & less on hardware & technical problems.
Programming a video show seems to take me about 1/10 the time with millumin then over watchout. The Que based dashboard with integrated timelines is also amazing & easy to understand. I’m really in love with this software!
The only thing I couldn’t understand is the program’s mapping.
I Understand that I can map each layer on it’s own but I couldn’t find a way to map the whole project’s output.
Most of the time I get ready made files from the video designer which contains a main background which is the same size of the whole composition (Image 01,03), Video overlays – some the same size as the whole composition & some as each slice.
After finishing programing the show I mostly get around 3 to 6 layers.
How do I map the whole project to the output of the display for fitting slices to LED sending card? (Image 02)
The only solution’s I found was:
1. Map each layer individually but this is very time consuming, It also add mapping layers which make the interface a mess. It also mess the visibility of the original files as I want to see it exactly as it should look.
2. Syphon to other program – very unreasonable for me as It makes the system unreliable & also might add latency for live captures/cameras.
Am I missing something? Is there a better way for doing it? Is it possible to use a Copy Layer as an adjustment layer as it copy all the layers Beneath it & then map only this layer?

I plug my display with Millumin V2 on the eGPU but I don't know if Millumin run on this eGPU.
In Window > Monitor, I see nothing

seamless video playback
I have a large set of h.265 video files that need to be played back to back without a pause. is there a good way to do this in Millumin? I am finding a pause between the files if I place them on a layer.

Real-Time LTC Timecode Generator
Hello all,
I’d like to share my realtime LTC Timecode Generator Application that allows you to create
cue lists containing named timecode ranges. It's meant for synchronizing multiple media servers. The main benefit here is you won't have to export and manage timecode files, but rather LTC is generated in real time.

It is built in Touchdesigner so you will need to install that first. No touchdesigner experience needed as this opens just like a standalone application. I've only tested it on PC, but Touchdesigner runs well on mac as well so there shouldn't be issues. All features are available in the free non-commercial license so you can evaluate it.
The repo's readme has a full feature list and instructions on how to use it.
Keep in mind this is still beta, if you plan on using this in production with millumin, please test thoroughly and feel free to shoot me a message and I can assist you in implementing into your workflow. You can also put issues on the repo so I can track and resolve them.
