How many NDI could we use ? I know that depend on the server used but in terms of limit software ?
With vmix we could generate 8 Ndi for vmix calls
I would know if it would be possible to handle them in millumin ? In order to send them after on 6 outputs of a graphic card

NDI framerate
Hello,
if you setup an output as NDI, the NDI framerate on the receiving machine is always 59,94fps.
No matter what Millumin's global framerate is.
Why is this?
For testing I setup an NDI output with another software (vMix) and in this case the NDI stream is locked to the framerate of vMix (e.g. 30fps).

Multi projectors with Mac
Hi everyone,
I have Millumin both on my laptop and on a MacMini.
It's not so clear how can I have differents projectors connected with differents canvas.
I would need the simple way to have
canvas1 on projector 1
canvas 2 on projector 2
etc...
For the Mac Mini
1/ should I plug 2 different HDMI (via usb-c)
2/ Or should I buy an external device ? Is the Matrox Head the right thing to buy ?

Millumin with Arduino and a HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor
Hej,
I have successfully been been testing Millumin with Arduino and a potentiometer and switches for various interactive inputs, auto-coded/programmed with Millumin. I like to maintain the uploaded auto-coded/programmed settings I have now.
I now like to add a HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor, and use the returned distance value as an interactive input in Millumin.
The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor has a transmitter and a receiver. Codes for Arduino with the a HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor can be found at:

I like to know if I can upload the code (and the NewPing library - see further down in the tutorial) via the Arduino Desktop IDE, and then "autoprogram" the digital output, ex D3 as " IN : sensor (such as infrared sensor or potentiometer)" for Millumin to read a value from the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor?

Joystick Center
Hi Philippe,
I'm playing with a joystick which handles the Pan & Tilt of a PTZ camera.
I' ve calibrated it, but it is a cheap joystick and the center of the sticks are not really at 0 (0,4 for one and 1,2 for the other stick).
Is there a workaround to force the center position ?

Ultra Studio Mini Recorder
Hello,
I can't see any video when I play the column with the input "UltraStudio Mini Recorder" (my camera is plug in SDI, and it works with other app, like zoom...)
Do you have any idea for fixing it ?

fade in NDI video but not audio
select column which have NDI media with transition option working well transition effect on video, but not audio, unlike normal video which have audio.
also, there are no "audio volume / audio routing" option for NDI media. (I've done with loopback and blackhole anyway)
is there any way transition audio for NDI ? if not, do you have any plan support this feature next update?

Locking OSC transmit
Hi all, when copying shows across to a backup machine it can become frustrating that the OSC transmit port also comes with the file. In itself it's not a problem but would it be possible to "lock" the OSC settings for a Millumin instance so that copying a new file to be run simultaneously as a backup can still easily send the correct information (eg. remaining time) to an appropriate viewer without having to reconfigure the port each time?

Touch OSC Android
Hello,
I re-write my question. I can't find Millumin host in my app Touch OSC (used on Android) even after configuring device in Millumin.
It seems that Millumin can't find my phone... I put the right IP adress, and the OSC server is green... Any idea ??

NDI Inputs Dropping Out
Hello!
We are having issues with NDI Inputs dropping out and coming back in our Millumin Project. We have an extensive NDI Network infrastructure in our building and are not experiencing any dropouts anywhere else in the network. That being said, we think Millumin is the issue and are curious how it integrates with NDI and if there are any limitations we should be aware of when using NDI with Millumin.
- How often is Millumin scanning the network? We have 60+ NDI Sources on our network and Millumin is seeing them all, but they all randomly drop out, i.e. sometimes in chunks, like 10 sources at a time or sometimes just 1 at a time. See attached video. Is Millumin working too hard to actively seek out inputs and thus causing the dropouts?
- Is there a way to unsubscribe inputs and only have the ones we are using? We are only using 2 inputs on the network to PIP on top of backgrounds.
- There are multiple copies of each of the 2 inputs scattered across the project. The NDI pips come in and out as the background and presentation change. Could this be part of the problem? Doesn't seem like it would be seeing as it's the same inputs, but wanted to bring this up.
We are hoping to figure this out ASAP. Having Millumin w/NDI Sources is a huge time saver for designers and operators and simplifies/streamlines our workflow.

Launch manually column

I've configured a MIDI command for lauching next column manually, with the option "manual" in transition.
It works the first day, but after a while, starts to bug a little bit. Now, it doesn't wok for all my column. I don't understand why...

Black shadow in picture imported
Hello,
I've noticed that some pictures did in Photoshop has a black shadow after importation in Millumin in a second time (not through syphon).
Can I fix it ?
The second one has a dégradé transparent whereas in Millumin, there is black in the dégradé..

NDI shows white screen when no image
I am sending video output from Millumin to another computer through NDI. When I am not sending video, on a blank cue, the image is all white.
I try with another version of Millumin, with another computer and it's fine. I tried on my computer with Resolume and it's fine.
I am using the lastest version of Millumin (3.19.m) with MAC OSX Catalina.
Is there a way to correct the bug? Thank you.

Soft Edges for the Advanced Output system?
Hello,
I recently started working with your advanced output system with a 5 projector grid that I've created, with 3 projectors in a horizontal row on the bottom layer and 2 in a layer above them creating almost a 4/3 layout from 5 screens, I've learned to use the alignment tools and have a pretty goodalignment set up. However, I have visible edges between a few of my projectors with different lumen levels. I noticed there are no soft edge options for the advanced tool. Is this coming soon and if not, do you have a work around that will help smooth the horizontal and / or vertical edges with this kind of set up?

Open project in older version of Millumin
Hello there.
I was wondering if there's any workaround to open a project in an older version of Millumin.
We were experimenting with the Beta version during some of the rehearsals of our upcoming production, and we did some updates and improvements on the project of the show while still using the Beta.
Now that I switched to the official version (the one we will use when performing), I noticed that I can't open the last project anymore, since it was created with a newer version.
I'm ready to simply re-program the changes we made, but maybe there's a simpler way?
P.S.: In the project we are not using any of the specific Beta features

Multi caméra / multi Video projector advice
Hello everybody,
For a theater project i have a setup like this
- 1 computer with Millumin
- 1 camera hdmi output
- 1 go pro hdmi outpout
- 2 video projectors
My goal is to manage to videoproject the gopro's video and camera's video on each screen, or one video on the two screen at the same time, and i want to switch projection between the two screens, even mix with some pre recorded video on the computers.
My problem is that i'm a little bit confuse on how manage to do this. I thought about buying 2 x ATEM blackmagic, and 2x splitter HDMI for each camera, but i'm not sure if i even can connect two VPs on one computer ? What tool could make a kind of hub, with physical buttons, because everything playing live on stage at the the same time filming. (sorry for my english i'm better at understanding than writing..)
